Here are some photos from my scrapbook! page 1 These photos are of "Baby Ida" and me.  Ida is a Quarter Horse, born in March of 1997 at Harper Valley Farm.  Ida was the first newborn foal I had ever really been around! She was so cute! I'd love to see her now...all grown up! Here I am, riding on the beach, near Florence, Oregon. This was something that I'd been waiting a long time to do! The only thing that would have made it better is if I had been on my own horse! Living in Western Washington puts me in close proximity...so it's in my future plans. Rino and Andrew In October of 1998 it was my pleasure to host a visiting student from Okinawa, Japan! We had an extremely busy but fun two weeks together. One of the things I enjoyed the most was introducing her to what I enjoy the most...HORSES! Rino had so much fun! Being around horses wasn't something she had an opportunity to do before...and she was a natural! grooming Gidget... ...then going for a ride! Pretty Juli! My friend Amanda introduced me to a woman with Friesian horses. I've enjoyed getting to know this breed a bit. I've had the opportunity ride, groom, help prep for shows and attend related exhibitions, judgings and events. Recently I was a "trail guide" for the Northwest Friesian Horse Club when they met for an afternoon at the Woodbrook Hunt Club. It was fun for my mom too, as she went along for a nice long carriage ride with Ann, the owner of these wonderful horses. Ann frequnetly asks people to ride out with her and I'm lucky enough to often be available! Ann & Juli, Amanda & Mick, and me & Ollie These horses are big!
