CEDAR page 4 I've had the opportunity to go back to Camas Meadows to school Cedar a couple of times this summer. We spent some time getting more familiar with the water! She's still not sure that trotting on in there is the best idea, but hopefully she'll develop a little more confidence in me and my decisions. Water can be fun! Trying something new! Speaking of trying something new...what could be more of a break from the ordinary for us than going cow penning at Oakwood Arena? A friend Amy, from Harper Valley Farm convinced me to give it a try. Now Cedar thinks she is a "cow pony!" This was so much fun that I went again and brought my friend, Amanda and her young horse, Dante, with me as well. They also had a great time! It's very dark inside this arena, photos are nearly impossible, but another friend was able to get some pretty good pictures of us with her digital camera! Thank you Robin! Cedar got so involved in what she was doing that she started pushing, shoving and nipping at the cows a bit when they were reluctant to move on. She thought it was great fun to be allowed to be so bossy and not get in trouble for it! "Girls just want to have fu-un!!!"
