In March of 2001 I made the decision to move Cedar to Creekside Sport Farm. It wasn't an easy decision, but I felt it was the correct one for both Cedar and me. Cedar now has the luxury of a large grass paddock and pasture turnout with "buddies" if we should desire. I'm excited to be riding with Karen Jensen again! | |

Also, I'm very pleased to be back in a barn with many of my friends. I love being at Creekside and I think Cedar does too! The photo at left is of Cedar out in her new paddock. |

At long last...after nearly a year and a half of planning and training I entered my first Event...the Camas Meadows Horse Trials! I can hardly wait to do this again. Cedar and I had so much fun! All but one of these pictures were taken during the stadium jumping phase. I was so happy with Cedar...what a good girl! We had an acceptable dressage score, went clean with no time faults in the stadium jumping and with the exception of the water we went clean in cross country, no time faults. Cedar took exception to entering the water...a step backward there knocked us down from second to seventh place overall in our beginner-novice division. We did, however, come home with a first place ribbon in our team competition! I am pleased that my dressage score and stadium round contributed to that effort. I enjoy the hunter ring and plan to continue competing there, but Eventing just may Cedar's calling! | ||

We then went to the King Classic at the Tacoma Unit the next weekend. We had a good show...managing to bring home a few ribbons. I was especially proud of the first place we were awarded in my equitation over fences class. Mom took this picture just as I was heading over to the arena.
